Bournemouth Nights Out
Whether you’re out with your friends, as a couple, with work colleagues or the kids, Bournemouth can offer you a great night out. With restaurants serving cuisine from all around the world to cocktail bars mixing up a storm, places to dance, places to chat and places to play, there’ll be a venue in town to suit your mood.
Looking for live music, karaoke, no music at all? Bournemouth offers a melting pot of nights out to match your plans. From night clubs to wine bars, restaurants to late-night cafes, cinemas to theatres, gentlemen’s clubs to casinos and everything in between. If you thought Bournemouth was amazing in the daytime, watch it come alive at night.
Separating Bournemouth’s shopping areas from the seafront are the stunning Victorian gardens which, on a sunny day, are a great place to sit down with the family for a bite to eat or a sunbathe! Part of the River Bourne is the stream running through the gardens, where children play, and which gave its name to the vibrant town of Bournemouth.
Free events take place in these areas including Kids Fun Festival, Candlelight Nights, outdoor art exhibitions and guided walks. In the winter there are night light exhibitions and an ice-rink to have fun!
Take a ride on the Bournemouth hot air balloon and see for miles across Bournemouth. Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum is a treasure trove of Victorian eccentricities showcased among world-renowned artworks.
All these attractions are simply a short walk away from the hotel - so no need to take the car.
If you want to wander further afield there are so many places to visit. Some of our favourites are Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum, New Forest, Buckler's Hard Maritime Museum, Poole, Christchurch, Hengistbury Head, Corfe Castle and the beautiful Mudeford Quay where we have spent many happy hours exploring.
Dorset's Jurassic coast is a near 100-mile stretch that was England's first natural World Heritage Site - make a beeline to Chesil Beach, Ringstead Bay, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door for the most impressive sights.
